The Harlem Hope Project is a faith-driven initiative dedicated to sharing the Gospel of Christ and bringing hope and transformation to the community in need. In partnership with the Salvation Army Harlem, this outreach effort provides spiritual support, prayer, and resources to those seeking a path to renewal and restoration.
Goals
Share the Gospel of Christ: Bring the message of Christ’s love and salvation to the Harlem community. Offer prayer, encouragement, and spiritual support. Partner with Salvation Army Harlem to serve those in need effectively. Connect new believers to local churches for continued growth, including Times Square Church and the Salvation Army Community Church.
Work on the Ground
In June 2024, God led us to expand our mission to Harlem, NY, in partnership with the Salvation Army Harlem. Every Tuesday, our team was deployed to minister to the community served by the Salvation Army.
We shared the Gospel of Christ, distributed New Testament Bibles, and offered prayer and spiritual support.
85 people were led to Christ and connected to local churches, including Salvation Army Community Church and our home church, Times Square Church in New York.

Project Updates
2025 Updates:
Once a month, Rise Up Mission conducted street outreach in Harlem, reaching out to people on the streets by sharing the love of God and praying for those in need. The focus was on presence, showing God’s love, and trusting Him to touch hearts—acknowledging that only God changes lives.
Metrics:
- Frequency: Monthly street outreach
- Total outreaches in 2025: 5
- Average individuals prayed with per outreach: 8
- Total individuals prayed for in 2025: 40
Summary: “In Harlem, where ministry began a year and a half ago, I observed a noticeable shift in the community. The spiritual strongholds have lessened, and people are more receptive to the Gospel than when we first began. Again, to God be all the glory” – Founder Rise Up Mission
