Kevin was trapped in the lies and schemes of the enemy, with thoughts filling his mind that he didn’t know who he was in his own body—whether male or female. The confusion had taken over his mind, and the spirit of transgenderism had imprisoned him, making him lose himself. He was hiding, walking confused in a little alley in Central Square, Boston.

God led me to walk up to him and ask if I could pray for him, if he had any requests for prayer. That’s how I found out about the bondage he was in. The Holy Spirit led me to him to shine light and give him hope—to let him know that he is so loved and that he is perfect in the eyes of the Lord.

I prayed for him and asked God to release him from that imprisonment. After the prayer, he opened his eyes, and I could see that something had changed. A sense of relief came over him. Jesus is the light of the world—He touched Kevin and showed him how much he is loved by the Father. His eyes looked different, like a burden had been lifted, like a chain had been loosened. He had been touched by the love and mercy of Jesus.

And that is why Jesus came—to set the captives free. Kevin is a testimony of God’s mission to bring the Kingdom of the Father on earth as it is in Heaven. To set the captives free, to heal the sick, and to deliver those who are bound. And I have seen the glory of God touching Kevin. To Him be all the glory!
